Help us make a difference.
Calling all United States food manufacturers and distributors!
Join our study to assess food loss and waste within the U.S. manufacturing and distribution sectors.
The Project – LIDD is collaborating with ReFED to explore loss and surplus in food manufacturing and distribution in the U.S. This effort will contribute to updating ReFED’s Insights Engine which estimates food waste in the country broken down by food type, supply chain stage, causes, and destinations.
The Ask – We invite companies to take part in a 1-hour interview where we’ll discuss the quantities, causes, and destinations of food loss and waste in your operations. We’ll also explore any solutions you’ve implemented to prevent or divert waste.
Who? – We are looking to interview inventory control leads, C-suite finance, or operations leaders in U.S. food manufacturing and distribution companies.
Why Participate? – Make a valuable contribution to a meaningful cause. ReFED’s database and reports provide actionable industry insights and effective solutions for reducing food waste and minimizing environmental impacts.
Confidentiality – All identifying information from participating companies will remain confidential and anonymized in the report. Any business insights shared by ReFED will be published only in aggregate form, ensuring anonymity.
